Building a Provincial Demonstration Zone for a New Power System: Zhejiang Fully Mobilizes Vast Resources

On September 9, Fan Ka, an employee of State Grid Zhejiang Haining Power Supply Company, visited the 20kV Fenghuang Converter Station within the “Source–Grid–Load–Storage Integrated Demonstration Zone” in Jianshan, Haining. He opened the source–grid–load–storage coordinated control system to review the real‑time updated data on source–grid–load–storage coordination and control. Since the system went live, on the basis of 100% full consumption, the local consumption rate of photovoltaic power generation within the distribution network has increased by more than 8 percentage points compared to when the system was first launched, while the peak–valley load difference at the 110kV Jianshan Substation has decreased by more than 1 percentage point…

Hubei Holds a Press Conference on State Grid Hubei Electric Power’s Targeted Poverty Alleviation and Peak-Load Management for Winter.

On December 20, the Hubei Provincial Government Information Office organized a press conference on State Grid Hubei Electric Power’s targeted poverty alleviation efforts and preparations for peak demand and winter. Xu Yimeng, Chief Accountant of State Grid Hubei Electric Power Co., Ltd., and Yang Yong, Spokesperson and Deputy Chief Engineer, attended the conference to present relevant information and answer questions from reporters. The press conference was chaired by Zhang Xiufu, Director of the Press Release Division at the Publicity Department of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee.

Excellent Power Supply Services Enhance the Atmosphere of the “International Famous Liquor Culture Festival”

On December 17, staff from the Jiangbei Power Supply Company of State Grid Sichuan Yibin conducted a special inspection at the Lingang Convention and Exhibition Center during the 2017 China International Famous Liquor Culture Festival. After 15 days of overtime work by power supply personnel, the center’s power supply project was successfully energized three days ahead of schedule, at 11:30 p.m. on the 15th, ensuring that the center could operate normally throughout the duration of the International Famous Liquor Culture Festival.

The “four-electric integration” project for the Hutong Railway has been launched, and today the Hutong Yangtze River Bridge underwent tensioning.

According to Shanghai Release, on the morning of December 5, the first mast of the traction catenary system for the Hutong Railway (Shanghai–Nantong Railway, Nantong–Anting section) was successfully erected in Taicang, marking the full-scale rollout of the railway’s four-electric integration project.

Mile Company Completed the Electrification Project for 21 Households Living in Poverty Without Electricity Ahead of Schedule.

To earnestly implement the 2017 work requirements of the Provincial Company and the Honghe Bureau regarding electrification of impoverished households in rural areas without access to electricity, Yunnan Miler Power Supply Co., Ltd. of China Southern Power Grid has actively coordinated with the governments of various townships and towns in Miler City, conducting on-site visits to assess the power supply situation for all 21 registered impoverished households in Miler City that lack electricity. Based on these site inspections, power meter installation and usage plans were formulated for each household, resulting in the development of 14 production and maintenance projects.
